Festive Jammies!

My family never had a Christmas pajama tradition. We woke up in and ran down the stairs in whatever was on us and tore into presents. However, as an adult (and with the invention of social media) I can absolutely appreciate the picture potential of a whole family in coordinating jammies around a Christmas tree. I definitely think that it’s a tradition that I want to start when I have children.

That being said, here are some super great options for festive jammies if your family has a pajama tradition.

Leopard Touches

Hey lovelies!

Have you heard that leopard is cool again? No longer is it for grandmas who still totally have “it”! Leopard is basically a Fall 2018 neutral. This is a lot for some gals to handle. One of my best friends said the other day “I don’t know what has to happen in my life to make me feel ok to wear leopard but I’m ready for it” 😂. In light of this epic paradigm shift, I thought I’d show y’all how I would tip-toe into this leopard trend.

First of all, are these AMAZING leopard flats. They are a great, literally, “tip-toe” into this trend and would look great with jeans and almost any top. (Here I paired them with some black cords and this comfy green sweater for a look perfect for a Christmas party!)

Target – $20

This super cute belt is another great way to ease your way into this trend. Look this bad boy into a pair of high waisted pants and front tuck your shirt ( á la Tan France 😍) and that is a LEWK, lovely.

Loft – $40

Another way to add leopard to your repertoire is a super cute clutch. This one from Red Dress Boutique is a super cute option for a night on the town and Brunch with the girls accompanied with a fun dress.

Red Dress – $35

Alright, hear me out on this one before you stop reading. This is a super cute top and paired with some other neutral items (jeans, black booties, a black cardigan or leather jacket) and it tones down the “extraness” of this top. Also, this would look super cute under a colored corduroy jumper dress.

SheIn – $8

Hopefully, this little guide helps y’all lean into this leopard trend!

College Football Fever

I’m so happy that college football is back!! I graduated from Auburn University 3 years ago, being there are some of my favorite memories and cheering on the Tigers takes me back to those times. I’m not so great at the football strategy but I’m a GREAT cheerleader haha.

What makes this weekend even better is that my folks came to visit me this weekend! Living on the other side of the country from them makes me cherish my time with them even more. Doesn’t hurt that my Dad talks me through the strategy and mom cheers with me haha.

(Disclaimer: this was taken before the game and Dad hadn’t changed into his shirt – we do not support any red teams (especially Bama 🤮))

I love this jersey, it’s about 5 years old and it was a bit expensive but it has been totally worth it. My secret is that this is actually a Youth XL! Buying a youth size will save you $15-25 and it’s basically the same size (but a little wider than an adult small).

What school do y’all root for??

Hope’s Try On Session

Hey lovelies!

I recently did some shopping at this super cute boutique on Saint Simons Island that I really love. I wanted to show y’all some of the things that I really liked that I think will be great for fall!

First up, is this super cute teal sweater that I loved so much I bought it! These sleeves were so cute and I lovedddd the drama of them. This is going to look so cute over jeans with boots or with shorts while we’re still in the fall transition.

Sweater: This is us sweater – $40

(currently Pre-Order)

LOVE these sleeves!

So, I’m going to plead me culpa here. I tried this dress on and I’m so dumb, I forgot to take a picture 🙈🙈🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. BUT this was a super cute flirty little dress that also comes in a light teal.

My fave part of this dress was the strappy back. Even though it did make it kind of difficult to put on haha.

Leave Me Breathless Dress – $35

So this sweater was giving me some Hogwarts vibes. I felt like I had just been sorted into Gryffindor with these longgg sleeves and colors.

Sweater: Fall Festival Cutie Sweater – $39 (currently Pre-Order)

These lightweight joggers were so comfy I nearly curled up on the seat in the dressing room and started a Netflix binge 😂.

These are the tan version because sadly this color is sold out

Kickin’ it Joggers – $36

Besides this stuff, this boutique has a TON of cute stuff online that’s not in the boutique storefront.

Let me know what y’all think!!

Workout Wear Update

I’ve been working on looking cuter at the gym than just my normal “old t-shirt and shorts” look. In doing this, I’ve bought a couple of cute workout shirts and have increased the number of Nike shorts (Norts) in my wardrobe.

I’ve been a fan of Norts since college. They were the cool thing to wear to class and look like you just rolled out of bed looking that cute (although most of us looked like we were high class hobos haha). They are still my favorite workout shorts to this day.

They’re not super cheap but Dicks is currently having a Back-to-School sale where they are 25% off! ($22.50)

This sale also has other assorted Nike & Under Armor apparel and shoes. Here are a couple that I like!

This super cute sports bra! ($22)

I think I need this in black because this deal is awesome! ($17)

Another super cute tank top that would be great for hiking and other low-impact workouts! ($30)

I bought these shorts like 10 years ago and they are still some of my fave lounge/sleep shorts. ($21) Always hoping that one day I’ll have the courage/self love to workout in these in public!

Another tank top…are you guys seeing a trend? 😂 ($19)

These are another super cute workout shirt option ($26)

Happy cute workouts lovelies!!

Romper city

Hey lovelies!

Anyone else in love with rompers? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Here are a couple I am definitely going to be buying once that sweet direct deposit hits!

I love this one! It’s so sunny and sooo cute with the little cut out. And how can you beat $14?!?

SheIn

This is so cute, I can’t even stand it. And it’s perfect for a bachelorette weekend for a bride!!

Vici Dolls

This would be ridiculously cute with a pair of boots to really lean into the country vibe.

Hope’s

This is so basic and could be dressed up or down so easily.

Dress Up

I’m in love with anything lace. This is a little scandalous but it could easily be de-scandalized with a cami or a bralette.

Amazon

Loving these stripes!

Happy shopping lovelies!

#nsale picks

Hey lovelies!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is FINALLY open to non-card holders!! I have put together a list of some of the things that may definitely be in my cart over the next few days (and that will be on my birthday wishlist for the 16th!!).

I am starting off with my number 1 wishlist item: this ridiculously cute faux suede mini Skirt.

Next on my list are these spanx faux leather leggings that I can’t wait to wear all fall and winter with sweaters and cardigans.

Spanx Faux leather leggings

While I’m thinking about cozy fall and winter outfits, this is literally the coziest looking pullover ever made. (And would look totally adorable over the faux leather leggings above.)

Fuzzy Quarter zip

Full disclosure: this is currently sold out but I am praying for a restock because I think it’s super cute.

Lace trim cami

So I love both colors of this but I would choose the olive green color for myself. However, that is currently sold out in everything but XL; the burnt red color is stocked in all colors.

Moto Jacket

I am not usually a fan of tank tops to work out in but I would definitely make an exception for this cutie!

Workout Tank

These are such a necessity I can’t even stand it! These are so freaking cute!

Moto Leggings

This jumpsuit is so classy, I think this would be perfect for a fall wedding.

Surplice jumpsuit

I wish I lived in a place where coats are necessary because this one is so stinking cute.

Ruffle Coat

This cardigan looks so soft and comfy. I can just imagine lounging around the house with leggings and fuzzy socks

Long Circle Cardigan

Again, I’m hoping for a restock in this ridiculously amazing shift dress but it is still available in L & XL.

Suede Shift Dress

I love this open back dress for a fall wedding with some tan, camel or black booties (or over the knee boots if you’re feeling saucy).

Burgundy Open Back Dress

I get to wear jeans to work but if I worked in an office this would definitely be on my wish list as a closet staple.

Workwear skirt

Again, totally easy, comfy looking closet work wear staple.

A-line grey dress

Alright, lovelies, that’s all for me right now! Let me know what y’all think!

Target SALE

Hey lovelies!

This target sale is making me so happy right now it’s actually comical.

I wan you to think about all the things you buy at grocery or drug stores, now I want you to think about 25% off. What about home goods? 30% off, I tell you! T-shirts, 3 for $20. 50% off Sony headphones. 25% off Target home goods brands. Spend $20 on books, get $5 back.

The list is endless. I can’t find any category that doesn’t have at least a small mark down going on.

First of all, I wanted to share what categories would be on sale just in case we aren’t looking for the same kinds of things and you want to do a little shopping of your own.

  • 30% off exclusive home items
  • 25% off kitchen appliances and cook ware
  • 25% off beauty, cosmetics, & personal care
  • 25% off vacuums and floor care
  • 40% off kids’ home items

This sale is literally amazing!!!

So, I’m going to be sharing with you the things that I am going to be purchasing but also things that I would totally buy if I were in the market for something like it (my apartment is only so big, I have to have some self-control 😂).

So, first off this St Ives Apricot face wash. I have been using this for over a decade and I credit it for my basically blemish-free face. (25% off)This is an item that I’ll be stocking up because of the deal.

I’ve been wanting to replace my bed spread for at least a year but just never pulled the trigger on any one piece. This sale seems like the perfect opportunity and I loveee this 100% cotton quilt’s pattern and 30% off never hurt anyone! (originally $100, with sale = $69)

I have super dry lips but also need a little bit of color for a low-key look at work or running errands around town. My answer? Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Red Dahlia. I have several of these but this is my favorite color for my skin tone.

Storage is HUGE for me. I feel like I have a bunch of little things that need to be put in baskets all over my apartment. Here are a couple that I thought were super cute and very Joanna Gaines-esque. (Sadly her line for Target is not part of the sale).

Small wire Milk Crate– $10

Large Wicker Milk Crate – $14

Extra Large Round Wire Basket – $18

I love string lights. All through college I had tiny white lights up in my room all year long. As an “adult”, I love how they class-up an outdoor space and give soft lighting for a dinner party or drinks on a terrace. These are super cute and less than $10 with the sale!

Speaking of outdoor spaces, this little table is perfect to set your drink or Bluetooth speaker on and can fold up if you need more space for cornhole or Kan Jam. For only $18 its a no brainer.

While no one wants to be a door mat in life, having a good one for your home is a must. This one is cute, simple, and only $9!

I have been thinking about buying an apron for a while because I am SUPER clumsy in the kitchen. I love the color of this one and it’s only $11.

Cute bowls are a necessity for a healthy snack in my book. These geometric cereal bowls definitely fit the bill. $1.39 each

The perfect accent to a dinner party? A classy wooden serving bowl-$14

Lastly, I have basically zero children in my life but I know that some of you do and I think this is the cutest thing I’ve seen in a while. Who doesn’t need a pink Mermaid tail blanket?! – $11

Thanks for reading! Send me a message if you want me to look into anything else on this sale for y’all!
