Heart eyes over heart patches 😍

Hey lovelies!

I’m thinking all things Valentine’s Day and I saw that Dede from @dreasupbuttercup got this sweater and fell in love!! Especially when I found out it was only $22!!

For this casual look, I paired it with this cranberry jumper dress and my fave black riding boots. This outfit would be cute for a casual workplace or lowkey evening outing. Not to mention I plan on wearing this until the GA heat returns since it’s not overly Valentines-y!

Let me know what you guys think and if you’d like a link to this cutie!

P.S. I also styled it for for a fancier evening look and I fell even more in love

Festive Jammies!

My family never had a Christmas pajama tradition. We woke up in and ran down the stairs in whatever was on us and tore into presents. However, as an adult (and with the invention of social media) I can absolutely appreciate the picture potential of a whole family in coordinating jammies around a Christmas tree. I definitely think that it’s a tradition that I want to start when I have children.

That being said, here are some super great options for festive jammies if your family has a pajama tradition.

Women’s Plaid PJ set – $20

Super cute traditional option.

Santa, I tried 4 piece set

Hahaha enough said.

Flannel PJ set – $30

These would be great all winter long!

Red Pajama set – $30

These are unfathomably soft! They also come in gorgeous Christmas tree-green!

Reindeer leggings – $16

These are so cute and totally count as PJs that can be worn out side the house!

Alright, I know this isn’t me normal content but I saw this and the matching adult PJs below and I literally couldn’t help myself. This is so stinking cute!

Leopard Touches

Hey lovelies!

Have you heard that leopard is cool again? No longer is it for grandmas who still totally have “it”! Leopard is basically a Fall 2018 neutral. This is a lot for some gals to handle. One of my best friends said the other day “I don’t know what has to happen in my life to make me feel ok to wear leopard but I’m ready for it” 😂. In light of this epic paradigm shift, I thought I’d show y’all how I would tip-toe into this leopard trend.

First of all, are these AMAZING leopard flats. They are a great, literally, “tip-toe” into this trend and would look great with jeans and almost any top. (Here I paired them with some black cords and this comfy green sweater for a look perfect for a Christmas party!)

Target – $20

This super cute belt is another great way to ease your way into this trend. Look this bad boy into a pair of high waisted pants and front tuck your shirt ( á la Tan France 😍) and that is a LEWK, lovely.

Loft – $40

Another way to add leopard to your repertoire is a super cute clutch. This one from Red Dress Boutique is a super cute option for a night on the town and Brunch with the girls accompanied with a fun dress.

Red Dress – $35

Alright, hear me out on this one before you stop reading. This is a super cute top and paired with some other neutral items (jeans, black booties, a black cardigan or leather jacket) and it tones down the “extraness” of this top. Also, this would look super cute under a colored corduroy jumper dress.

SheIn – $8

Hopefully, this little guide helps y’all lean into this leopard trend!

Hat + Love

I’ve never been a hat person. I always thought they smooshed my head funny or that they made my hair look weird. However, hats are a HUGE fall trend and ya gurl loves a trend.

As I was perusing through Target with my parents this weekend, I spotted this beauty across the aisle and I knew that I had to try her on. From that moment on, I barely took her off of my head. And I’m not too proud to say that whenever I saw my reflection, I stopped at stared at our combined beauty!

Her very first outing was to visit JT at work with my folks where he could give us a tour of the boats that he drives for work in the Coast Guard. I’m so proud of the things that he does and it was so fun to see him in his element being a boss.

If you can’t find this beauty here are some similar hats:

The 90’s are calling 📞

As a 90s baby, I never got to really enjoy the truly “iconic” fashion of the 90s haha. That being said, 90s throwback fashion is totally having a moment right here in 2018. As I’m getting to experience 90s-lite I’ve been incorporating some elements into my day to day. My fave currently is a long sleeve jacket/shirt tied around the waist.

Truthfully, this is a multi-tasking trend and I will seriously miss it when it dies. Firstly, two hands free to do things (like shop 😉) while not loosing the potential comfort needed in changing stores…location’s climates haha. Second, if you tie it at your natural waist you can use it to pull focus to the smallest part of your silhouette giving a leaner look. Lastly, it can take an outfit and make it into a lewk.

Flannel: Walmart $10

This is actually a men’s flannel shirt that I bought at Walmart in college and I love the over-sized fit. I think this is a M or L.

Tank: Forever 21 $6

Skirt: Forever 21 $18

This isn’t the exact skirt I’m wearing but I feel like this is a good mix of modern and grunge-ish.

Shoes: Target $10 (currently out of stock)

Ked’s $40

Amazon $20 (Ked’s dupe)

Backpack: Target $37

I loved this look that I wore to dinner and a movie with my babe. Also, as a side note: this was a great look for the GA heat and then a cold movie theater once I snuggled up in my flannel. Fashion & Function!

Let me know what you lovelies think in the comments!

Birthday Party!

I had a birthday party on Saturday. This was a really big thing for me.

I’ve moved 3 times since I graduated college which has made it really difficult to make friends post-college. This year, I actually had enough friends in the same zip code as me to have a party. I am so thankful for the friends that I have made here in the Golden Isles andI can’t wait to celebrate more milestones with them.

Here are a few snaps from that night!

Summer to Fall transition

Hey lovelies!

In theory, the weather is suppose to be cooling off soon (probably not here in South GA for a while though lol). So with that in mind, I thought I’d show y’all a look that I love that easily transitions from spring/summer to fall.

This dress is one of my faves right now because it’s simple, easy, and comfy. Also super cheap! Amazon $10

I paired it with a classic jean jacket (tied at my natural waist to pull the eye to the smallest part of me) and a statement earring for color.

Earrings: Target

If the cool weather ever comes, one of the ways I’ll transition this dress to the fall is here.

These boots and I have been running around together for close to 8 years and I love them so much it hurts. I love this red sweater layered on top of this dress almost as much. Mixing a tight piece with a loose piece is a great way to change things up and feel a little bit more modest in a show-offy dress.

Boots: Nordstrom $149 (not the same but similar)

Sweater: Goodnight Macaroon $59 (not the same but a super cute alternative)

Earrings: Target

What are your favorite ways to transition items from summer to fall??
