Festive Jammies!

My family never had a Christmas pajama tradition. We woke up in and ran down the stairs in whatever was on us and tore into presents. However, as an adult (and with the invention of social media) I can absolutely appreciate the picture potential of a whole family in coordinating jammies around a Christmas tree. I definitely think that it’s a tradition that I want to start when I have children.

That being said, here are some super great options for festive jammies if your family has a pajama tradition.

Women’s Plaid PJ set – $20

Super cute traditional option.

Santa, I tried 4 piece set

Hahaha enough said.

Flannel PJ set – $30

These would be great all winter long!

Red Pajama set – $30

These are unfathomably soft! They also come in gorgeous Christmas tree-green!

Reindeer leggings – $16

These are so cute and totally count as PJs that can be worn out side the house!

Alright, I know this isn’t me normal content but I saw this and the matching adult PJs below and I literally couldn’t help myself. This is so stinking cute!

Leopard Touches

Hey lovelies!

Have you heard that leopard is cool again? No longer is it for grandmas who still totally have “it”! Leopard is basically a Fall 2018 neutral. This is a lot for some gals to handle. One of my best friends said the other day “I don’t know what has to happen in my life to make me feel ok to wear leopard but I’m ready for it” 😂. In light of this epic paradigm shift, I thought I’d show y’all how I would tip-toe into this leopard trend.

First of all, are these AMAZING leopard flats. They are a great, literally, “tip-toe” into this trend and would look great with jeans and almost any top. (Here I paired them with some black cords and this comfy green sweater for a look perfect for a Christmas party!)

Target – $20

This super cute belt is another great way to ease your way into this trend. Look this bad boy into a pair of high waisted pants and front tuck your shirt ( á la Tan France 😍) and that is a LEWK, lovely.

Loft – $40

Another way to add leopard to your repertoire is a super cute clutch. This one from Red Dress Boutique is a super cute option for a night on the town and Brunch with the girls accompanied with a fun dress.

Red Dress – $35

Alright, hear me out on this one before you stop reading. This is a super cute top and paired with some other neutral items (jeans, black booties, a black cardigan or leather jacket) and it tones down the “extraness” of this top. Also, this would look super cute under a colored corduroy jumper dress.

SheIn – $8

Hopefully, this little guide helps y’all lean into this leopard trend!

Hat + Love

I’ve never been a hat person. I always thought they smooshed my head funny or that they made my hair look weird. However, hats are a HUGE fall trend and ya gurl loves a trend.

As I was perusing through Target with my parents this weekend, I spotted this beauty across the aisle and I knew that I had to try her on. From that moment on, I barely took her off of my head. And I’m not too proud to say that whenever I saw my reflection, I stopped at stared at our combined beauty!

Her very first outing was to visit JT at work with my folks where he could give us a tour of the boats that he drives for work in the Coast Guard. I’m so proud of the things that he does and it was so fun to see him in his element being a boss.

If you can’t find this beauty here are some similar hats:

The 90’s are calling 📞

As a 90s baby, I never got to really enjoy the truly “iconic” fashion of the 90s haha. That being said, 90s throwback fashion is totally having a moment right here in 2018. As I’m getting to experience 90s-lite I’ve been incorporating some elements into my day to day. My fave currently is a long sleeve jacket/shirt tied around the waist.

Truthfully, this is a multi-tasking trend and I will seriously miss it when it dies. Firstly, two hands free to do things (like shop 😉) while not loosing the potential comfort needed in changing stores…location’s climates haha. Second, if you tie it at your natural waist you can use it to pull focus to the smallest part of your silhouette giving a leaner look. Lastly, it can take an outfit and make it into a lewk.

Flannel: Walmart $10

This is actually a men’s flannel shirt that I bought at Walmart in college and I love the over-sized fit. I think this is a M or L.

Tank: Forever 21 $6

Skirt: Forever 21 $18

This isn’t the exact skirt I’m wearing but I feel like this is a good mix of modern and grunge-ish.

Shoes: Target $10 (currently out of stock)

Ked’s $40

Amazon $20 (Ked’s dupe)

Backpack: Target $37

I loved this look that I wore to dinner and a movie with my babe. Also, as a side note: this was a great look for the GA heat and then a cold movie theater once I snuggled up in my flannel. Fashion & Function!

Let me know what you lovelies think in the comments!

Birthday Party!

I had a birthday party on Saturday. This was a really big thing for me.

I’ve moved 3 times since I graduated college which has made it really difficult to make friends post-college. This year, I actually had enough friends in the same zip code as me to have a party. I am so thankful for the friends that I have made here in the Golden Isles andI can’t wait to celebrate more milestones with them.

Here are a few snaps from that night!

Summer to Fall transition

Hey lovelies!

In theory, the weather is suppose to be cooling off soon (probably not here in South GA for a while though lol). So with that in mind, I thought I’d show y’all a look that I love that easily transitions from spring/summer to fall.

This dress is one of my faves right now because it’s simple, easy, and comfy. Also super cheap! Amazon $10

I paired it with a classic jean jacket (tied at my natural waist to pull the eye to the smallest part of me) and a statement earring for color.

Jean jacket:Amazon

Earrings: Target

If the cool weather ever comes, one of the ways I’ll transition this dress to the fall is here.

These boots and I have been running around together for close to 8 years and I love them so much it hurts. I love this red sweater layered on top of this dress almost as much. Mixing a tight piece with a loose piece is a great way to change things up and feel a little bit more modest in a show-offy dress.

Boots: Nordstrom $149 (not the same but similar)

Sweater: Goodnight Macaroon $59 (not the same but a super cute alternative)

Earrings: Target

What are your favorite ways to transition items from summer to fall??

Tasseltown

📍Tasseltown, Population: Me!!

Loving this tassel-hemmed t-shirt dress from Amazon, totally complimented by my fabulous tassel earrings!

Super cute, easy outfit for a pedicure date with a girlfriend of mine.

Dress: Amazon ($15) sadly only available in in this color in L-2XL but it’s available in all sizes in a cute army green color

Earrings: Similar ones

Purse: Goodnight Macaroon ($59) this is the plain version but you could make it your own with some craft supplies!

Sandals: DressUp ($11)!!!

I’ve had a really rough week work-wise so it was great to have a girly pedicure date with a great girlfriend to vent and catch up. It’s extremely difficult for me (lots of us, really) to not have all the answers; and I was lacking a lot of answers at work this week. Being stretched professionally is painful at times but hopefully it pays off in experience Thankfully, my tower of cards is somewhat stable at the moment so I am working on relaxing.

How do you lovelies control your stress during difficult times??

Romper city

Hey lovelies!

Anyone else in love with rompers? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Here are a couple I am definitely going to be buying once that sweet direct deposit hits!

I love this one! It’s so sunny and sooo cute with the little cut out. And how can you beat $14?!?

SheIn

This is so cute, I can’t even stand it. And it’s perfect for a bachelorette weekend for a bride!!

Vici Dolls

This would be ridiculously cute with a pair of boots to really lean into the country vibe.

Hope’s

This is so basic and could be dressed up or down so easily.

Dress Up

I’m in love with anything lace. This is a little scandalous but it could easily be de-scandalized with a cami or a bralette.

Loving these stripes!

AMAZON PRIME DAY!!

This is it! The day we’ve all been waiting for!! PRIME DAY!!

Real talk: I get hyped leading up to this sale every year and then every year it frustrates me. Truthfully, this sale is a bloggers worst nightmare: continual new content, massive stock outs, and VAST merchandise. There’s basically a different sale every 5 hours and for a 36 hour sale… that’s A LOT of work on your friendly neighborhood blogger.

All of that being said, here are some things that are or would be in my cart this year (ya gurl ain’t made of money 😂).

Note: these are just items that are on sale for the entire sale

The first thing I’m really excited about is an Amazon Fire tv stick for $19.99! I absolutely love mine because it upgrades your normal TV to a smart TV for fraction of the cost

The next thing has been on my grown- up wish list since I knew they existed: a Roomba 😍. This thing is the height of luxury as far as I’m concerned. It’s on sale for $230 (you save $120). I’m a simple girl who hates vacuuming and loves videos of small animals riding on said vacuums.

These shoes are definitely going to be in my cart. A) because I am desperately in need of good running shoes B) this is an awesome deal. These bad boys are 40% off at $48.

While we’re on the subject of fitness, I thought I would mention this because I am in desperate need of a new Fitbit and this is a great deal at 40% off. This is the Fitbit Alta HR and I’ve been wanting one for a while.

Also, if you’re looking for a cute work out top to wear with the last two items. This is the one. Only $20 and it will go with almost any leggings (I have this problem all the time with none of my cute top matching my cute pants/shorts!).

Alright, stay with me here, the Amazon basics on this sale are kind of awesome.

This deal is 320 Lysol wipes for $11.99 PLUS a 20% coupon at check out ($9.60 total).

Back to our regularly scheduled program!

I’m not one for watches because I have almost completely lost the ability to tell time (yes, my mother is very disappointed). However, if I were to get a watch this Kate Spade one is the one that I would get. It’s a hybrid smart watch with step tracking, notifications, and such. Also, it’s cute as hell.

If I were going to pick something to quietly listen to my every conversation and be my master once the computers rise up, this certified refurbished Echo plus would be it!

I have been looking for a curling wand since my 10 year old curling iron crapped out a couple weekend ago. This one is super highly rated and only $10 after the 30% coupon at checkout!!

Well this has been my short list of items that I have/would buy from Amazon Prime Day!

Let me know what y’all think!!
