H&M Work Wear Try On

Hey lovelies!

I have a TON of work travel this month because of conferences and I realized that I haven’t bought new work clothes in AGES. So I made a little trip to H&M and photographed a work wear try on to inspire y’all to do a spring refresh on your work wear!

First up is a blouse that I liked so much that I bought! I’ve been all about yellow recently and this too was so springy and comfy I couldn’t resist. (Truth: I have this exact same top in 2 other patterns 😬)

Similar long sleeve top – $15

This outfit is so stinking cute! Add a pair of nude or black flats and you are work day ready. These pants run a little small so I would size up one, I’m wearing a 6 here but I definitely would have bought an 8. The top is true to size and I am wear a small.

Tie front blouse – $35

Slacks – $15

These photos do not do the color of the dress justice. It was such a pretty olive/army green that is very on trend for spring this year. TTS, wearing a size 6. $25

Loved this dress so much I tried it in the yellow version too! $25

I cannot tell you how much I love this outfit! This whole outfit came home with me. Medium in the skirt and small in the top TTS

Blouse – $15

Skirt – $35

This one was a strong contender in the “come home with me” category but sadly limited funds means limited choices.

Not the exact but very close – $35

Another similar – $15

Last but not least, this super cute dress. This would be perfect if your office is a little more fancy than casual.

$35

Stay tuned in two weeks for how I styled the 3 pieces that I picked up today!

Happy shopping, lovelies!

On Wednesday We Wear Pink

Hey lovelies!

I love a good Mean Girls quote as much as the next 90s girl. And truthfully, I love this shirt just about as much.

This shirt comes in 16 colors and in standard and plus sizes.

Also, Dick’s Sporting Goods is having a sale right now so they are buy one get one 50% off (and some are even an additional 15% off). I’m literally going to grab a couple more colors while they’re on sale because I love them so much.

I bought this polo (and 3 other colors) when I became a manager at work and wanted to a little bit more of a professional look even in a casual environment. These shirts make getting ready in the morning a breeze. I don’t have to worry about an undergarment situation, so I just throw it on and go. (I will say that the white is a teensy but sheer though)

I’m wearing a small and I really like the fitted cut. This color is the rose violet. However, having a little bit of a longer torso, sometimes it does pop out of the tuck when I lean over.

As a girly-girl in male dominated field, I love that this (especially in this color) lets me still express my femininity.

Happy shopping!

Jumpsuit Chic

I love this jumpsuit! It’s so chic and flattering and I’m really excited to wear it to a wedding that JT and I are going to this fall. This is perfect for any event. Even better, is that it’s on sale this weekend!!

Surplice Jumpsuit – $40

I’m wearing this with my new favorite heels from Target that are the perfect height and only $25. They’re temporarily out of stock but they are restocked all the time. (I know because I stalked these shoes for almost a month because I could tell they were perfect haha.)

Currently, this jumpsuit is only available in S & XXL; I’m in a small. I’ve linked some similar jumpsuits below.

Blue Ruffle Jumpsuit – $43

Halter Jumpsuit – $68

Vince Camuto Jumpsuit – $99

Happy jumping, lovelies!

Hey lovelies!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is FINALLY open to non-card holders!! I have put together a list of some of the things that may definitely be in my cart over the next few days (and that will be on my birthday wishlist for the 16th!!).

I am starting off with my number 1 wishlist item: this ridiculously cute faux suede mini Skirt.

Next on my list are these spanx faux leather leggings that I can’t wait to wear all fall and winter with sweaters and cardigans.

Spanx Faux leather leggings

While I’m thinking about cozy fall and winter outfits, this is literally the coziest looking pullover ever made. (And would look totally adorable over the faux leather leggings above.)

Fuzzy Quarter zip

Full disclosure: this is currently sold out but I am praying for a restock because I think it’s super cute.

Lace trim cami

So I love both colors of this but I would choose the olive green color for myself. However, that is currently sold out in everything but XL; the burnt red color is stocked in all colors.

Moto Jacket

I am not usually a fan of tank tops to work out in but I would definitely make an exception for this cutie!

Workout Tank

These are such a necessity I can’t even stand it! These are so freaking cute!

Moto Leggings

This jumpsuit is so classy, I think this would be perfect for a fall wedding.

Surplice jumpsuit

I wish I lived in a place where coats are necessary because this one is so stinking cute.

Ruffle Coat

This cardigan looks so soft and comfy. I can just imagine lounging around the house with leggings and fuzzy socks

Long Circle Cardigan

Again, I’m hoping for a restock in this ridiculously amazing shift dress but it is still available in L & XL.

Suede Shift Dress

I love this open back dress for a fall wedding with some tan, camel or black booties (or over the knee boots if you’re feeling saucy).

Burgundy Open Back Dress

I get to wear jeans to work but if I worked in an office this would definitely be on my wish list as a closet staple.

Workwear skirt

Again, totally easy, comfy looking closet work wear staple.

A-line grey dress

Alright, lovelies, that’s all for me right now! Let me know what y’all think!

This week in Sawmill fashion…

Happy Monday lovelies!! Today’s outfit was super simple but great for the first day of a work trip. I’m helping start up a brand new facility which is a super awesome opportunity! I love these boot cut Jeans so much that I have like 4 pairs of them. They are so comfy and stretchy it’s unbelievable. This top is from StitchFix which is a super convenient styling service that is so nice if you don’t live near a mall or boutiques you like. They send you 5 items to try on at home and then you keep what you like and you send back what doesn’t quite work for you.

Hope you guys have a great week!
